Eyeglass and Contacts Lens Return Policy

Eyeglass lenses are custom made devices and are NOT refundable, but we will be happy to correct any problems you may experience.

Policy for Making New Lenses for a
Patient’s Old Frame

  1. We cannot be responsible for breakage when we reuse a patient’s old frame to manufacture and insert new lenses.
  2. We will use the utmost care if we accept a patient’s frame, but in a small percentage of cases the frame parts or material will be worn or brittle to the point that it will not support a new lens.
  3. Older frames are usually discontinued by the manufacturer and replacement parts are generally not available. Putting new lenses into an old frame may create a pair of glasses that cannot be repaired later.
  4. If a patient’s frame breaks during our handling, the purchase of a new frame is at the patient’s expense. We may have to discard the first pair of lenses made for the original frame, but no additional charge will be assessed for lenses.

Certificate of Warranty

This product is guaranteed by Franklin Optical for a period of 0 3 6 12 months against all manufacturing defects as determined by our technical services department. In the event of manufacturing defect, the frame or corresponding defective part will be replaced at no cost. This warranty does not cover defects caused by accidents (shocks, crushing, etc), improper or abusive use of the frame, unauthorized handling modifications and repairs. It is therefore recommended to keep this certificate of warranty in a safe place.

Order Cancellations

  1. Prescription orders can be canceled once the lenses have been generated but will be subject to a 50% cancellation charge
  2. Frame orders "by Catalog” cannot be canceled once the frames have been ordered by our Staff.
  3. Value frames cannot be exchanged nor returned.
  4. Repairs have no warranties unless written on receipt.
